Choosing the Right PRODMAX Filter Set
Choose the F7 + G4 filter set for effective everyday filtration of fine particles, dust and pollen, combined with protection against larger contaminants.
The G4 + G4 filter set is a practical option for general coarse-particle filtration and is suitable where standard prefiltration is required.
Choose the F7 Carbon + G4 set when additional protection against unpleasant odors, smoke, traffic pollution and selected volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is needed.
For AIR EXPERT 400H and AIR EXPERT 600H units, the F7 + M5 set provides fine filtration on the supply-air side and effective particle filtration on the exhaust-air side. The F7 Carbon + M5 set additionally helps reduce odors and selected airborne pollutants.
Why Should Ventilation Filters Be Replaced?
Clean filters are essential for maintaining effective ventilation-system performance. Regular replacement helps to:
- Maintain good indoor air quality
- Capture dust, pollen and fine airborne particles
- Protect the ventilation unit from contamination
- Support efficient airflow and heat recovery
- Reduce the risk of increased energy consumption caused by clogged filters
How Often Should PRODMAX Filters Be Replaced?
Ventilation filters should generally be replaced every 6–12 months. The exact replacement interval depends on outdoor air quality, the season, dust levels and system usage. Homes located in urban areas or near busy roads may require more frequent filter replacement.
What Are VOCs?
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are airborne chemicals that may be released by traffic, cleaning products, paints, furniture and other household materials. Activated-carbon filters can help reduce many odors and selected gaseous pollutants in incoming air.
Are These Original PRODMAX Filters?
These are high-quality compatible replacement filters for PRODMAX ventilation systems. They are not original branded filters, but are manufactured to match the relevant original filter specifications and dimensions, providing a reliable fit and dependable filtration performance.
