Filters for Komfovent DOMEKT R models (rotary heat exchanger)
In this subcategory you will find original and high‑quality compatible filter sets for
Komfovent DOMEKT R series ventilation units. The letter “R” in the model name
indicates a unit with a rotary (wheel) heat exchanger. The range covers many models used in
apartments, houses and light commercial applications.
Why choose DOMEKT R (rotor) units?
- Efficient rotary heat exchanger for reliable operation even at very low outside temperatures
- Maintains indoor humidity balance, reducing over‑drying of indoor air in winter
- Quiet and compact design, ideal for homes where low noise level is important
All filter sets are manufactured according to Komfovent’s specifications and are designed to fit the original
filter frames. Correctly selected replacement filters for DOMEKT R units ensure:
- very good indoor air quality
- stable and quiet operation of the unit
- lower energy consumption and longer service life of the fans and heat exchanger
Filter types for DOMEKT R models
Depending on the specific DOMEKT R model, the following filter classes are typically used:
- F7 / ePM1 – supply air filter (outdoor air), fine filter for pollen, dust and allergens
- M5 / ePM10 – extract air filter, medium filter for coarse dust and larger particles
- Carbon filters – for odour and VOC (volatile organic compounds) reduction (available for selected models)
All F7 / ePM1 and M5 / ePM10 ventilation filters in this category meet the relevant
ISO 16890 and legacy EN 779 standards used by Komfovent.
For most DOMEKT R units the recommended standard set is a combination of:
- F7 / ePM1 (supply air) + M5 / ePM10 (extract air)
Some models also support:
- F7 / ePM1 + F7 / ePM1 – higher cleanliness level inside the unit
- M5 / ePM10 + M5 / ePM10 – lower filtration level but longer service interval

M5 / ePM10 + M5 / ePM10 or carbon filter sets, please contact us by e‑mail:

How to identify your DOMEKT R model
To choose the correct Komfovent DOMEKT R filter set, check:
- the model code on the unit’s nameplate (for example: DOMEKT R400F C6M,
DOMEKT R450V C4/C6, DOMEKT R300V C6/C8)
- controller type (C4, C6, C6M, C8 etc.), because some filter sizes differ by controller/version
- door locking type on some models (e.g. black plastic locks on newer C6M versions vs metal locks with key on older units)
Then compare the model code and filter dimensions shown on the product page with the filters currently installed
in your unit.

Choosing original vs compatible filters
- Original filters – approved by Komfovent, fully match the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Compatible filters – made in the same dimensions and filter classes
(for example F7 / ePM1 and M5 / ePM10), fit the same filter slots and provide a
comparable filtration level, often at a more cost‑effective price.
How often should you replace filters in DOMEKT R units?
For most DOMEKT R models, the recommended replacement interval is:
- 1–2 times per year in residential applications
- more frequently if:
- you live in a high‑traffic or industrial area
- there are construction works nearby
- your home has a lot of dust or pets
Filters should also be replaced earlier if they are visibly dirty or if the unit shows a maintenance or filter alarm.
