Filter installation
Before replacing the filters, it is recommended to read the unit’s user manual. During installation you must follow the direction of the airflow – the arrows printed on the filter must point towards the rotor (heat exchanger).
Filter position in L and R versions
- L version: the supply air (outdoor air) filter is on the right
- R version: the supply air filter is on the left

NB! Do not confuse with the R450V C6M model – the filter dimensions, frames and filter sets are different, and the filters on this page are not suitable for the C6M version.
In addition to the model name, you can distinguish the units by the door locking system:
- DOMEKT R450V C6M (newer model) – the front door has black plastic locks
- DOMEKT REGO 450 VE / REGO 450 VW / R450V – the front door has metal locks that are opened with a key

What is the difference between F7 and M5 filters?
- F7 / ePM1 60% – fine filter that captures most fine particles, pollen and allergens. Recommended for the supply air.
- M5 / ePM10 50% – medium-class filter that captures coarser dust and larger particles. Usually used as the extract air filter.
How do I install the filters in my REGO 450 / R450V unit?
Before replacing the filters, read the user manual. When installing:
- follow the airflow direction indicated on the filter – the arrows must point towards the rotor (heat exchanger)
- make sure the filter frame sits straight and does not leave gaps where air can bypass the filter

How often should I replace the filters in my REGO 450 / R450V?
Recommended replacement interval:
- 1–2 times per year in residential applications
- more frequently if:
- you live in a high-traffic or polluted area
- there are construction works nearby
- your home has a lot of dust or pets
Filters should also be replaced earlier if they are visibly dirty or if the unit shows a maintenance/filter alarm.
Can REGO 450 VE / REGO 450 VW / R450V filters be used in other Komfovent models?
In general, no. Filters are designed for specific models and dimensions:
- These sets fit REGO 450 VE, REGO 450 VW and R450V, but do not fit the R450V C6M model (newer version with black plastic locks).
