- M5 / ePM10 50% – extract air filter
This combination offers a good balance between high filtration efficiency and a reasonable pressure drop and is our recommended standard set.

Filter installation
Before replacing the filters, it is recommended to read the unit’s user manual. During installation you must follow the direction of the airflow – the arrows printed on the filter must point towards the heat exchanger.
Make sure that the filter frame sits straight and seals well, without gaps around the edges where air can bypass the filter.

How often should I replace the filters?
Recommended replacement interval:
- 1–2 times per year in residential applications
- more frequently if:
- you live in a high‑traffic or polluted area
- there are construction works nearby
- your home has a lot of dust or pets
Filters should also be replaced earlier if they are visibly dirty or if the unit shows a maintenance / filter alarm.
Can these filters be used in other Komfovent models?
