Filter installation
Before replacing the filters, it is recommended to read the unit’s user manual. When installing the filters:
- follow the airflow direction indicated on the filter – the arrows printed on the filter must point towards the rotor (heat exchanger)
- make sure the filter frame sits straight and does not leave any gaps where air can bypass the filter
Filter position in L and R versions
- L version: the supply air (outdoor air) filter is on the right side
- R version: the supply air filter is on the left side
Important compatibility information
These filter sets are designed specifically for the following model:
- DOMEKT R400F C6M (with C6M controller)
NB! This filter set is not the same as for the older R400F or other models like R400V. The filter dimensions and construction differ.
You can also distinguish the new R400F C6M from the older R400F model by the door locking system:
- DOMEKT R400F C6M (new model) – the front door has black plastic locks
- DOMEKT R400F (older model) – the front door has metal locks that are opened with a key
Using the wrong filter size or the wrong filter set may cause:

What is the difference between F7 and M5 filters?
- F7 – fine filter (ePM1) that captures most fine particles, dust, pollen and allergens. Recommended for the supply air.
- M5 – medium-class filter (ePM10) that captures coarser dust and larger particles. Usually used as the extract air filter.
How do I install the filters in my DOMEKT R400F C6M?
When installing the filters:
- switch off the unit and open the front door
- remove the old filters carefully to avoid dust falling into the unit
- insert the new filters with the arrows pointing towards the rotor (heat exchanger)
- check that the filters sit tightly in the frame without gaps

How often should I replace the filters in my DOMEKT R400F C6M?
Recommended replacement interval:
